One of the jobs of the AMTA-KY Chapter Laws and Legislation Committee is monitoring the activities of the KBLMT and reporting to our members.  The L & L Chair writes a regular column in the AMTA-KY Newsletter keeping members up to date on activities of the KBLMT and actions that affect our rights as massage therapists in Kentucky.  Keeping up to date is the only way to be sure you are practicing legally and ethically in Kentucky.

Remember that the AMTA is the ONLY Professional Massage Organization with state chapters, and the only non-profit professional massage organization.  Member's dues go back into the massage industry, not into someone else's pocket.  One way the dues are spent, is to help us monitor and keep members informed about Kentucky laws and regulations affecting us as massage therapists.

Under the Reports section, are the monthly summaries of the activities of the KBLMT meetings, that our committee attends on your behalf.  If you have any questions regarding activities of the KBLMT, or any Laws and Legislation related question, please contact one of the L & L committee members.
