Education Committee

The Education Committee plans and implements the Chapter Education events. It also oversees proper documentation for NCBTMB provider status for the chapter.
Because of the scope of this committee, there are many subcommittees and teams who volunteer to carry out the work. They are:

General Conference Coordinator -  Starr Phoenix

Program Subcommittee - Sandy Gadd, chair
 composed of the coordinator and subcommittee chairs.  This committee develops the education program, selects/contracts the speakers, and oversees the speaker's needs both before and during the conference.

MarketPlace/Donations Subcommittee - Sharon Meade
This committee contracts vendors for the Market Place secures donations for the Registration “goody bags” and for the raffle.

Hospitality Subcommittee - open
This committee selects the food, decorations, music and social activities for the annual conference. They purchase and prepare gift baskets for the speakers. This committee also serves as, or finds volunteers who act as hostesses during Conference registration.

Registration Subcommittee - Donna Musser, chair
This subcommittee manages the registration process.

Educator/Student Programming Subcommittee - Collette Wilson
This committee plans special programming for educators and students.

Pre-conference Preparation Subcommittee - Caren Williams, chair
This subcommittee is charged with printing and copying of all of the materials used at the conference. This includes handouts, evaluation forms, questionnaires, agendas, badges, tickets, and CE Cards. They also label the envelopes and CE Cards, stuff the name badges into the plastic holders, and place name badges, tickets, ribbons and receipts in the appropriate envelopes.
