This committee attends Licensure Board meetings and reports to membership. It also polls the membership when AMTA opinion is sought by the Board. It requires members who are self motivated, politically astute, and well spoken. Members of this committee must be appointed but we hope you will apply.

Public Relations/Marketing Committee - Joe Cinquina, Chair
Three volunteers are needed to develop and implement a PR plan for the chapter. The committee will compile and maintain a listing of local media and identify Chapter media spokespersons. The committee would also identify newsworthy stories regarding Chapter members, meetings, conferences, and events and would supply the media with this information.

Program Subcommittee – open for 2011
This committee develops the education program, selects/contracts the speakers, and oversees the speaker's needs both before and during the conference. This committee needs volunteers who can serve as “teaching assistants” for several class sessions at the conference (e.g., Managing Headache Pain, Fibromyalgia, Zero Balancing, MRT, Feldenkrais, Body Mechanics, etc.) You can earn CE hours while assisting the speaker/instructor.
Market Place/Donations Subcommittee – Sharon Meade, chair
This committee contracts vendors for the Market Place. Members will secure donations for the Registration “goody bags” and for the raffle. Two or three volunteers would be helpful.
The Raffle Team manages the raffle at the conference and needs three + people to work at the conference setting up the raffle and selling tickets
Hospitality Subcommittee – OPEN, chair - 3-5 people needed. This committee selects the food, decorations, music and social activities for the annual conference. They purchase and prepare gift baskets for the speakers. This committee also serves as, or finds volunteers who act as hostesses during Conference registration. Conference Pre-Planning Subcommittee - Caren Williams, chair
Printing Team - 2-3 volunteers would be ideal
This committee is charged with printing and copying of all of the materials used at the conference. This includes handouts, evaluation forms, questionnaires, agendas, badges, tickets, and CE Cards. They would copy and collate only. All writing, typing, etc. would be done by others. The Chapter owns a high-speed laser printer that can be used. This work will be during February, 2008.
“Goody Bag” Stuffing Team – about 6 people
All of those wonderful donations have to be put together in bags for the attendees to pick up at registration. This is a last minute job, usually done at the Conference hotel the night before the meeting begin.
